This is a wonderful recipe! Works great on bread, baked chicken, sauteed vegetables, seafood, etc. I personally tried this with my homemade french bread and it was gooood! Give this a try! I definitely recommend this!
If you grow herbs like me, then I would prefer that you use them, as you know fresh always tastes better. :) You can always use dried herbs if the fresh option is not available to you.
RECIPE
4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon parsley
1 1/2 tablespoons basil
1 tablespoon oregano
1. Beat all ingredients together with a fork until smooth and slightly frothy.
2. Depending on the size of your ice tray, fill them until full. Each "cube" should roughly amount to 1 tablespoon.
3. Store in freezer.
You can choose to store the butter in the fridge, but with the fresh ingredients, it will not last very long.
Enjoy!
